He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: in Him will I trust. ( Psalm 91:1-2)
How many times have we read these words and said to ourselves that we will 'trust' in Him, yet when things come our way that we don't like or feel are unfair, unjust, or just plain not how we want things to be...we cry out to God; "WHY, LORD, WHY?"
Do we Trust in His Omniscience, Omnipresence, and Omnipotence, or NOT? Do we really let it sink in that HE has plans that are far more knowledgeable than what we can ever comprehend?
I often (usually daily!) have to remind myself that HE is in control and that if I YIELD my will to conform with HIS will, He absolutely will perform what is BEST for me!
Victory Garden Prayer:
Father God,
You are Holy, Perfect, Just, and Faithful! I truly ask that You show me through Your WORD how to lean on, trust, and obey You! You are life, breath, and my hope. I give You praise, honor, and glory! I know that You inhabit our praise and worship and You ARE altogether worthy of all praise and worship!
In the Name of Jesus the Messiah, I pray! Amen.
