WHAT WOULD JESUS THINK?

WHAT WOULD JESUS THINK?

Adoption: Exactly what does a blended family look like? Well, of course, it all depends on the ethnic, cultural, religious, and gender, adopted into the family! Simple Yes?
Not if one looks at the church-the Body of the Living God, here on earth.

Why? Because people want to flock together with those with the same likes and dislikes. The rich want to have small group with the rich….the “in-crowd” at church, you know, the pastor and his wife, the worship leaders, the associate pastors, the elders, etc.

Because people want the kind of music they personally like. Because they want a quiet, reserved, worship scenario…..like Grandpa had.

Because they don’t want a band, guitars, cymbals, tambourines, hands held high, and all the smoke and flashing lights.

Because they don’t like the color of those sitting nearby. Because they don’t like to hear about finances. Because they’re upset with Sally Jones.

Because someone hurt their feelings. Because if I can’t hear what I want to hear, then I can’t show up.

Because if Sally doesn’t apologize, then I won’t either! Because I think they’re all hypocrites. Because they don’t acknowledge me. Because the pastor thinks no one knows the Bible but himself.

Because only 10% do all the work and giving.

WHAT would Jesus think? HOW can we all love and relate to one another, live in peace, forgive one another, and show the world what it’s like to walk with our Creator?

Will that ‘friend’ who no longer speaks to me, shun me in heaven? Will that person who called you a racist because you don’t like certain policies, stand on the opposite side of heaven from you? What about that co-worker that thinks you’re not as good as he or she?
Life is filled with pain and sorrow. The Body of Christ was designed for fellowship and love; to strengthen one another. But it’s not being carried out that way, in many churches today, therefore, more and more attempts are made at sensationalizing the worship services……Hollywood for Jesus. What would Jesus think?

We were created to worship God alone above all else, heart, mind, soul, and strength. We were created to develop relationships. We were created for doing the work that God called us to do. If we can see others with the innocent eyes of a child, the eyes of love, trust, and forgiveness, we could live out the Body-the Church- and stand firm against the world, until Christ returns for His church.

What would Jesus think? He would tell us all-just as He already has…..“You will know they are My disciples by their LOVE.” (John 13:35)

Pray for our Body to live in unity, and BE the Church we were meant to be for the glory of our God and our Savior.

PROVERBS 15: A CHAPTER WORTH GOLD

As I read this chapter, I felt it crucial to underscore a ‘few verses,’ as we ALL need the wisdom that comes from the very Breath of God. Yet, as I read, I couldn’t possibly choose one or two well-spoken verses, because each one can radically change one’s perspective-IF taken to heart and put into practice.

1 A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.
2 The tongue of the wise adorns knowledge, but the mouth of the fool gushes folly.
3 The eyes of the LORD are everywhere, keeping watch on the wicked and the good.
4 The soothing tongue is a tree of life, but a perverse tongue crushes the spirit.
5 A fool spurns a parent’s discipline, but whoever heeds correction shows prudence.
6 The house of the righteous contains great treasure, but the income of the wicked brings ruin.
7 The lips of the wise spread knowledge, but the hearts of fools are not upright.
8 The LORD detests the sacrifice of the wicked, but the prayer of the upright pleases Him.
9 The LORD detests the way of the wicked, but he loves those who pursue righteousness.
10 Stern discipline awaits anyone who leaves the path; the one who hates correction will die.
11 Death and Destruction lie open before the LORD— how much more do human hearts!
12 Mockers resent correction, so they avoid the wise.
13 A happy heart makes the face cheerful, but heartache crushes the spirit.
14 The discerning heart seeks knowledge, but the mouth of a fool feeds on folly.
15 All the days of the oppressed are wretched, but the cheerful heart has a continual feast.
16 Better a little with the fear of the LORD than great wealth with turmoil.
17 Better a small serving of vegetables with love than a fattened calf with hatred.
18 A hot-tempered person stirs up conflict, but the one who is patient calms a quarrel.
19 The way of the sluggard is blocked with thorns, but the path of the upright is a highway.
20 A wise son brings joy to his father, but a foolish man despises his mother.
21 Folly brings joy to one who has no sense, but whoever has understanding keeps a straight course.
22 Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed.
23 A person finds joy in giving an apt reply— and how good is a timely word!
24 The path of life leads upward for the prudent to keep them from going down to the realm of the dead.
25 The LORD tears down the house of the proud, but he sets the widow’s boundary stones in place.
26 The LORD detests the thoughts of the wicked, but gracious words are pure in his sight.
27 The greedy bring ruin to their households, but the one who hates bribes will live.
28 The heart of the righteous weighs its answers, but the mouth of the wicked gushes evil.
29 The LORD is far from the wicked, but He hears the prayer of the righteous.
30 Light in a messenger’s eyes brings joy to the heart, and good news gives health to the bones.
31 Whoever heeds life-giving correction will be at home among the wise.
32 Those who disregard discipline despise themselves, but the one who heeds correction gains understanding.
33 Wisdom’s instruction is to fear the LORD, and humility comes before honor.

The Holy Bible: Emphasis is mine in all instances.

How amazing life would be, if ONLY we would make it our daily goals, to heed the instructions of King Solomon. He was not perfect, by far, yet as the man who was wisely endowed from God, King Solomon-through the Holy Spirit of God, gave us words to live by.

He failed in his own life by not following his own words. Why? Because there is intelligence and there is common sense. One can be highly intelligent-a gift from God, but if not combined with the common sense to use that intelligence-we may as well be as dumb as a rock.

We must always be mindful of consequences! God will forgive us when we behave foolishly-if we repent, but He never promised we would not have to deal with the consequences of our behavior, choices, decisions, etc.

Sin can be forgiven. Consequences can live on……for the rest of our lives!

THINK before you act!

My GRACE is Sufficient!
As I sit here beginning to write my Blog, I am in the active process of listening to 99.7 Family Life Radio. How amazing that the two programs I have been listening to this morning are about the very subject I have decided to write about today!

The first was Chuck Swindoll in raising children and the difficulties we encounter and the huge responsibilities. The second (which is still in progress is the story of a Korean Street Child, as she tells her story of being put out in the street as an infant, still believing that her mother loves her, but did what she had to do. The child, now a grown Christian woman, in ministry, tells of being thrown into a building with another little girl, younger than she. She tells of the hatred she felt at being used as a human bait for rats. She tells of being abused by men over and over. She told of a man who finally showed some real affection and she spat on him, at nine years old, she was dead to emotion except for hatred. She was adopted by a Christian couple and began to know God and the love of Christ and began to heal....what a blessing to have a mother and father who can Train up a child in the way he should go!

That leads me into my subject for today. Proverbs 22:6 is an all time favorite verse for most Christian parents. I have that scripture dedicated in a brick at the Melbourne Beach Library for my three grandsons; Ryan, Ian, and Zane.

As I think deeply and intently about the verse, I see so many ways it can be understood. ( I LOVE the living, dynamic, changing, revealing, yet firm ways God makes His every Word come alive!)

Train: the definition of train means to impart knowledge, to instruct by precept and example, to give experience. As we train a tender plant as in a Bonsai tree, so shall it be bent. As we nurture and gently shape and mold it, as we turn it toward the sun (SON), it will turn in that direction. We can not force it, we must be gentle and consistent...if we force it, it will break. This is proven Biblically by the following scripture:

Colossians 3:21 " fathers, (and mothers) provoke not your children to wrath, lest they be discouraged" Some translations say: "Do not embitter your children, or they will become discouraged."

Know that your child is wonderfully made by God and trust God that He will be His protector and guide. Know that His grace is sufficient for you and for your child if you leave that child in the Father's hands!

When we train up a child in the way he should go it means more than meets the eye! Train is to teach, to admonish, to gently guide, to discipline with loving admonishment (to express disapproval by gentle and earnest, solicitous manner, to advise and encourage...not DIS-courage).

As we train our child, we know that the fruit we will see may (most likely) not be immediate, nor even may it be in the next few years, but know that if you lovingly, gently, teach and admonish by example of your own life, that child will turn to the one who is loving, forgiving, and provides for him in his times of trouble. If he knows that God is his counselor, his sustenance, his rock of salvation, a very present help, his Lord and savior, he will turn to Him! It is God's promise. It is truth. It is written. God is faithful. The KEY is training by example, with love, gentleness, and loving admonishment.

When the Bible says; "spare the rod, and spoil the child...." I shudder to think of the ways in which this has been made perverse! We knew of a man back in Sheridan, who made a rod about three feet long and about 1/2 " thick to use on his children! They were ages from one year to about three!

In Biblical times, the rod was a gentle probe to guide or nudge in a certain direction. The rod and staff were to comfort not to beat or harm! We need to nudge our children in the right direction. If we see them having a desire we should listen with intention, ask them to pray with us about it and ask God to direct and counsel and then let God's grace be sufficient. In doing this, we teach them to seek God for all decisions and to trust in God's will not our own.

David was a man "after Gods own heart" yet David killed a man, caused another to die at the front lines of battle, committed adultery, killed a giant, killed a lion, and danced naked (he was actually wearing his undergarments) in the streets. The heart of David was toward the Lord, always. His intent was to please God, yet he failed many times to be a perfect example....the consequences of his behavior was to have those same sins repeated by his own sons, and to lose the son of Bathsheba. He paid the price of sin. God is no respecter of persons, if we sin, we pay in this life, as well as being judged or rewarded on judgement day.

We teach our children that there are consequences in this life for our sins and for the choices that we make. When we include God in our decisions, I am a firm believer that He will work things together for good for those that love Him and keep His commandments!

We shall become as little children...."whosoever shall humble himself as this little child, the same is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven, and whosoever shall receive one such little child in my name, receiveth me. But whoso shall offend (cause one of these to stumble!) one of these who believe in me, it would be better for him if a millstone were hanged around his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea."

The raising of a precious child is a very serious business. It is the greatest responsibility one can ever carry. It absolutely must be done with fervent prayer and with a bridled tongue. It must be carried out with the I Corinthians Love scriptures:

Love suffereth LONG! Love is KIND! Love envieth not! Love vaunteth not ITSELF! Love is not puffed up! Love doth not behave itself UNSEEMLY!
Love seeketh not her own! Love is not easily PROVOKED! Love thinketh no EVIL! Love rejoices not in unrighteousness. Love rejoices in TRUTH!
Love bears all things! Love Believes all things! Love HOPES all things! Love ENDURES all things! Love NEVER FAILS!

To the children: Children OBEY your parents in the LORD, for this is right. Honor thy father and mother. This is a commandment with promise, that it may go well with you! (Eph.6:1-2).

Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth.....let all bitterness and wrath, and anger, clamor, and evil speaking or railing (shouting, arguing) be put away from you! Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving, EVEN as GOD forgives you! (Eph. 29-32).

Fathers, provoke NOT your children to wrath! but bring them up in the LOVING nurture of the Lord. (Eph. 6:1)

As Thanksgiving is upon us, I am so thankful to my God and my Savior for my children! I thank my God for my grandchildren and my son-in-law and for my husband. God is so good to us. I have no words to thank Him for His awesome grace, mercy, love, patience, forgiveness, and His constant and wonderful presence. I am so glad, in light of my lack of ability to thank Him enough, that His GRACE is truly sufficient for me!

To my family: I thank you for being a part of my life, for the blessing you have been to me these past years, I thank my God for all of you. I thank my God for my brothers and sisters around the world, for the body of the Living Church of Jesus Christ, our Redeemer! With every blessing, I give HIM praise!

Thanksgiving be Unto our Father!

The Choice Is Yours!

Matthew 6:23

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

You SOW a Thought-You REAP an ACT
You SOW an ACT-You REAP a HABIT
You SOW a HABIT-You REAP a CHARACTER
You SOW a CHARACTER- You REAP a DESTINY!

To quote it simply from King Solomon:
"As a man THINKS-so he IS." (Or so he BECOMES)

Our BELIEF Determines our BEHAVIOR-
Our Behavior Determines our CHARACTER.

People SAY, "That's just the way I am! Love me or not!"
WELL, That's just the way you are, BECAUSE that's just the way you THINK!

Life is a continuous stream of choices; 24/7/365/+
YOUR CHOICES Determine WHO you are and what you DO.
Your CHOICES Begin in YOUR own mind. No One can change it but you.
God's Word says to "captivate EVERY thought to the obedience of Christ"  ….not 99% but 100%

Is it easy? No. No, it isn't at first. I've been there. You have to fill your mind with things of God; The good, the pure, the lovely, the things of good report, the right, the things that will glorify Him, and not grieve the Holy Spirit.

Memorize scripture. Study God's Word, Pray without ceasing. Love one another. Forgive one another. Forgive yourself! Live peacefully. Sing Praises.
Worship God in your alone moments, or in a crowd. He hears you above the noise and in the deepest, darkest quiet, and in the storms.
We are increasingly bombarded with opinions, fake news, and political polarization that is so prevalent and inflammatory, that it even splits long-time friends, families, and even churches!

We simply MUST think deeply about the character we want for ourselves-not to become those hateful and angry people that we're being manipulated into becoming.
Choose Blessings. Choose the good! Build a solid, loving, thinking, intelligent, and common-sense, godly character!

Heavenly Father, I pray for those lost and confused. I pray for their repentance and for open eyes, ears, and hearts-that they may be turned from darkness to LIGHT-from the power of Satan into YOUR marvelous Light.
In The Precious Name of Y'shua our Messiah!

I've included a link to connect you with an excellent book that I wrote about two years ago. It can be ordered from your favorite book store, online at Amazon, and other places.
This link will connect you to Amazon, where you can purchase a hard copy or an e-book.

Blogging for Christ, Lost Souls, and Encouragement

I have four blogs....why? Simple. I am hoping and praying that even one person may come across them and seek to know God.....as King Solomon says in Ecclesiastes-it is the whole duty of mankind......it's not a burdensome 'duty' but the ONLY Way to live, if you think about eternity with Christ.
In view of this-please feel free to share the blog sites and this post with everyone and maybe they'll share too. One can hope.
www.fishermensline.blogspot.com

www.victorygardenofprayer.blogspot.com

https://seedplantercom.wordpress.com/

Thank you so much for assisting in spreading the Word.

How many times, and how many of us have asked this question? Perhaps all have asked, and many are still asking.
We all have a purpose on earth. We all have varying purposes, some of us even more than one, yet we also ALL have the same purpose!

We are all created by a Loving God. He created us for His own purpose….to glorify Himself. He is the Creator! He could have required that we love Him. He could have forced us to obey Him….but He did NOT choose that for us.
He chose to give us free will.
Yet, we were created to Worship Him, Glorify Him, Know Him, Obey Him, and to Love Him.

King Solomon tells us plainly:

"Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man." (Ecclesiastes 12:13)

Also, God Himself tells us:

He hath shown thee, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God? (Micah 6:8)

And in the New Testament Jesus says:

"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world." Amen.
‘For in HIM we live and move and have our being.’ (Acts 17:29)

So, in summary of all--we were all created for the SAME purpose: To KNOW GOD, To Love Him, to Fear Him, to Honor Him, to Glorify Him, to Obey Him.

Everything He does, or tells us to do is for OUR benefit and HIS glory!

And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. (Colossians 3:17)

Guardian Angels-Are They Real?

We are clearly told to not worship angels. We worship only God, the Father, through Christ, the Son, by the power of the Holy Spirit-which is given to all true believers in Christ as the Son of God.
But are there really angels watching over us? Yes. Yes, there are. According to the following scriptures, we really do have angels in an unseen realm, surrounding us.

Not only does God send angels to watch over His people, but God, Himself surrounds us with His Presence. He is also within us as we become believers in Christ-as the Holy Spirit indwells us!

Psalm 34:7
The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear Him, And rescues them.

Daniel 3:28
Nebuchadnezzar responded and said, "Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, who has sent His angel and delivered His servants who put their trust in Him, violating the king's command, and yielded up their bodies so as not to serve or worship any god except their own God.

Daniel 6:22
"My God sent His angel and shut the lions' mouths and they have not harmed me, inasmuch as I was found innocent before Him; and also toward you, O king, I have committed no crime."

Matthew 18:10
"See that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that their angels in heaven continually see the face of My Father who is in heaven.

Acts 27:23-24
"For this very night an angel of the God to whom I belong and whom I serve stood before me, saying, 'Do not be afraid, Paul; you must stand before Caesar; and behold, God has granted you all those who are sailing with you.'

Hebrews 1:14
Are they not all ministering spirits, sent out to render service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation?

Throughout the Bible, there are many scriptures about angels. IF you read carefully, and if you are reading through the power of the Holy Spirit, you may be able to discern when it is an angel, or when it's Christ. Usually it will say 'an angel of the Lord' or "The Angel of the LORD."

If it is an angel, the angel will say, "Do not worship me." (Paraphrased) but if it is Christ, He will say, "take off your shoes, you are on holy ground." (Paraphrased)

So, we can usually discern between an angel, which is NOT to be worshipped, and Christ, Whom we worship.

Sowing the Word

The parable of the seed and sower in the New Testament-Book of Mark (Chapter 4) is all about the seed of God's Word. It's the gospel of salvation. The seed is God's Word. The sower is the believer in Christ.

Many modern day pastors, preaching the "prosperity" gospel-which is NO GOSPEL at all-- often use this chapter to entice people to give to their huge organizations.
We have to study God's WORD and Know His Word, so that we can discern truth.

II Timothy 2:15 clearly tells us to study and rightly divide-meaning to understand the Word. If we know God's Word, we won't be deceived by unscrupulous people who twist the truth to their own greed and agenda. Those people will answer to God for their deeds.

The Seed I talk about it the seed of Faith, Love, Hope, and the absolute truth about God's love for you. The seed of His Word-that Christ came to earth to give His life for you, to overcome death, and to give you eternal life. The seed is to be planted and grown, as it grows into a strong foundational love and relationship with God, it will spread, new seeds will form and grow…..it's the law of planting and harvesting.

The Bible is filled with many amazing truths. It's never boring……well, maybe Numbers could be-but it's still the inspired Word of God, and should be read!

Just a few thoughts about seed planting-we sow for souls--- NOT for financial gain, power, or fame.
We reap a harvest of souls for the Kingdom of God, for His glory-NOT for our own!

The Word Became Flesh

Genesis 1:1-2
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters

John 1:1-2
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  He was with God in the beginning.

John 1:14
The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us. We have seen His glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Among my favorite scriptures in all of the Bible. It can not be clearer WHO Christ is.
HE is the Son of the Living God. All things were CREATED Through HIM.

Colossians 1:14-16
(These following verses, when woven together, as the entire Bible is written, explains it so clearly!)

The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For in HIM (CHRIST) all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through Him and for Him.

Plant these seeds in your heart-and think on them!

Salvation In Christ

Only God can save…through His Mercy, Grace, and our Faith in His Son-our Savior. ("You believe in God, believe also in ME." Christ in John 14:1)

Plant the seeds.
Water as often as you, or someone else, can
I may persuade you-but only God can convict you and change your heart.
IF I persuade you-someone else can come along and persuade you differently.
Faith in God is the essential soil needed for a seed to take root. If you are searching for truth-you will find it. Jesus said, "I Am the Way, the Truth, and the Life…" Believe on the Lord!

Christ taught the people:
“A farmer went out to sow his seed.  As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up. Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow. But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they had no root.  Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants.  Still other seed fell on good soil, where it produced a crop—a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown…..Matthew 13:3-8

A Garden of Treasures

I thoroughly enjoy researching subjects such as nutrition, medical concerns, exercise, healthy eating plans, and holistic health. I believe in Christ as the ultimate Healer and the Giver of our given responsibilities to care for our bodies in every aspect.

I have more than 30 years working in a hospital setting as a Registered Nurse, and have traveled to more than 20 countries working in the mission field and on vacations. My work and travel experiences have given me the insight and desire to help others in their search for fulfilment, to thrive under a healthy lifestyle, and to find spiritual guidance through following the Leadership of the Holy Spirit of our Creator.
Life is meant to be lived abundantly and with joy unspeakable. I will help you answer your questions and help you search for answers-as we seek together.
Be an advocate for your life and choices. Make wise decisions, having done all to be informed.

I will pray for you!

Enjoy Life to the Fullest!
A Healthy Lifestyle is a Choice We Must Make To Live Life Abundantly.

Christ said, "I Am come that they might have life more abundantly..." John 10:10

"I have told you this, so that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be complete." John 15:11

In the Old Testament we are given lists of foods to eat and those that were forbidden. Our Father and Creator knew that pork was extremely high in fat and cholesterol. He also knew that exoskeleton seafoods are high in cholesterol. Of course, we are no longer under the Old Testament Law, but when the scientists of today discovered that the foods of the Old Testament were, in fact, bad for our health, it seemed that they had 'discovered' something new.
As King Solomon said, "There is nothing new under the sun."

I love certain seafoods just as much as anyone, but I encourage you, no matter what you choose to eat or drink-do so in moderation. Choose wisely.
We are allowed to live in these 'jars of clay' and these tents that are our earthly bodies, but let us remember that we are the Temple of the Holy Spirit.

As Hippocrates said, "Let your food be your medicine, and let your medicine be your food."
Long before Hippocrates-
Our Heavenly Father gave us perfect paths to walk-let us walk worthy of the responsibilities we are given.

In Y'shua Messiah,

CROSSING The Street-by Sue C. Weaver

Psalm 3:5

"Trust in the LORD with all your heart; and lean not to your own understanding."
When we are older we often look back to our misty-covered memories as though seeing through a dark glass. No one understands where we have been nor what we have done. Songs reverberate through our minds and trigger images of long-past days.
We gaze into a rose and breathe in its fragrance, once again memories flood like crystal rivers splashing through the fiber of our being. Words can't describe, looks can't convey, stories go untold, pictures unseen, love not understood in its depth.....life goes on and memories continue to flow unchecked.

Only God knows our heart and soul. In the elderly-time has stood still, youth still reigns in the heart and mind....only the body reveals the long roads traveled by way of lines in the face, bent backs, and slow steps. Never judge a book by its cover!

I've always loved studying and researching nutrition. During my years in Nursing School, we had a wonderful Professor in Nutrition.
His name was Dr. Meyer. One of his most memorable lessons was actually an opinion he held firmly.
"IF you eat a balanced diet, you should have no need for supplements."
I agreed with him.....until I was diagnosed with a little- known, little cared- about, type of colitis-Lymphocytic and Collagenous Colitis, many years later.
From 1999, when diagnosed, I used my education from nursing, nutrition, pharmocology, biology, anatomy, and everything else I could possibly use to research ways to live with this horrible blight on my Energy, GI Tract, and Life in general......not to mention many unmentionable aspects of that life.
In my heavenly Father's grace and mercy, I have been able to continue working in my preferred setting (hospitals) for more than 32 years, travel to Twenty countries, write five books, and exercise to my heart's content, work with the IMB (International Mission Board), spend amazing times with my family, friends and church family, and just plain old LIVE!
Ok, I have to get down to the nitty-gritty of this post. It's all about the confusion people MUST feel about the conflicting information running rampant in this world.

       I'm Just Sayin'

Drink Coffee-it's good for you!      Don't Drink Coffee-it's bad for you!
Eat Eggs-they are good for you!     Don't Eat Eggs-they're bad for you!
Drink Soy Milk......no wait! Don't Drink Soy Milk-SOY is Bad for you!

"Eat More Chikin' "           No wait! "Chikin'" is full of antibiotics, steroids, hormones, and        pesticides!

       Drink Red Wine........Don't Drink Wine!

Use Mosquito Spray......No! Mosquito Spray contains Deet-a toxin!
Flouride is Good for your teeth.......No! Flouride is a Toxin!!
Brush your teeth after drinking soda.....NO! Brushing your teeth right away causes gum disease, dentin, and enamel deterioration!
100% Fruit Juice is Good for you....BUT don't drink it-it's bad for your teeth and your weight!
Eat fruit! No wait-fruit has toxins on the skins, in the pits, and seeds.
Wash your fruit with vegetable detergents! No STOP-never use detergents on your fruit, they contain harmful ingredients!
Of course, I could go on and on and on. The list for every study that is pro, there is another study for con for just about everything on the planet.
I, personally, have come to the conclusion that I must be vigilant, eat with serious moderation, find what works for me by trial and error.....and my heavenly Father has carried me thus far and He will finish the work He has started in me....and like Queen Esther says in The Book of Esther; "If I perish, I perish!"
Now, for that small glass of O.J. ....wait about 30 minutes and brush my teeth with sugar-free, flouride free, titanium dioxide free tooth paste!
With all those pros and cons floating around out there, I plan to live smart......don't believe everything you read! Pray for me and let me know how I can pray for you!!!

He did that for a REASON-To Keep us Healthy. I'm Just Sayin'......

Too Much Trust For Online Purchases-Back To The Local Merchant For Us!

For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged; and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. Matthew 7:2

I have dealt with Amazon for years-I mean years! I've always had a great relationship with all of my purchases and reviews-I actually love doing reviews!
However, at Christmas my husband and I ordered a travel duffle bag that our son-in-law wanted as his gift. We chose a really nice-looking, durable bag for only $70.00.
As it happened, Jim, our son-in-law, didn't need to use it until last week (February). He was on a business trip, flying from Pensacola, Fl. to Miami, Fl.
The bottom fell out of the new, first-time used bag! How embarrassing for us when we were told!!!
To top that humiliating experience-we notified Amazon that the bag had fallen apart the first time it was used. The company, "Little Bags Planet" a seller through Amazons website.
      Their response is essentially:

We're sorry, but the purchase is outside our 30 day money back/exchange limit.
Now, I would strongly suggest to all who purchase any sort of travel bag that you walk around two or three hours as if you're in an airport, on a train, or travelling somehow. Pleaes fill your bag to the proper weight, and make sure it's not FAULTY, Before 30 days.
IF your travel plans are outside the 30 day limit-please be prepared!
The seller also sent an e-mail asking for photographs-which we are prepared to send-however-again, the seller of this faulty/defective product sent the request through an e-mail that we were unable to reply....mail undeliverable!

I tried  to post THREE reviews on Amazon-very politely explaining the concerns and issues-they refused to post ANY of the three! (BTW, I've posted many reviews on Amazon and many at their request-but now I'm feeling that if a review is not positive-it's not wantedonce I was even asked to remove an unfavorable-though very well and respectfully written-review because "It made the seller look bad."-so to be "Nice" I removed it at their reqiest)

I have to admit my first one was clean, truthful-yet a scathing and angry review. toward this "Little Planet Bags" people- I changed it and the third was sweet, very polite and respectful-yet Amazon still denied my review post!

I'm so disappointed with Amazon as well as "Little Bags Planet" In fact, my husband and I are so disappointed that we are planning to close out all accounts and not use their services again.
It's sad, because we've had such a good realtionship-us buying, them supplying......but guess what? There are hundreds of services out there who are more reliable and will honor their customers.

To me, if you have never failed your responsibilities, pay your bills, are honest to a fault, are loyal to your supplier-as we have been to Amazon over the years, you would THINK they could at least return the favor and honor their responsibilities to the long-standing customers!

I honestly have desired for such a long time, the days when we walked into our local merchants and purchased our products. I understand the busy lives we live these days, but I am determined to shop locally-now more than ever!

In this past year-perhaps, because I'm getting older, but I've felt more intensely, the injustices along life's paths, and it bothers me more and more. Life is tough all over the world, I'm feeling the need to simplify, to cut back on the stress that society's ills thrust upon us daily.
I plan to make all my purchases LOCALLY!

I am looking for that city, whose Builder and Maker is God!
Your Sister In Our Beloved Messiah,
